Peter Jesse Main has taught all levels in Band, Jazz Band, Chorus, Music Appreciation, taught privately and was the Music Coordinator for Canutillo ISD in Texas for many years . Peter has taught at New Deal HS, Dexter HS, Goddard HS, Hagerman HS, East Montana Middle School, Canutillo HS, and Atkins Middle School. He has written and arranged over 950 compositions. Some of his selections have been played by bands in Texas and New Mexico. Peter started writing when he was 12 in Roswell, NM. He was an All-State and TRi-State Clarinetist in New Mexico at Goddard HS. He has played his clarinet professionally in several jazz bands, played in the Roswell Symphony Orchestra. He is currently a member of TMEA and TBA. He was selected as Music Teacher of the Year by the Albuquerque Symphony Orchestra in 1994.
